Public projects should reflect the values of their communities – most of our public projects involve working with large and sometimes disparate stakeholder groups, and part of the work we do is to understand each group and work to find common ground so design can move forward in a positive way.

In order to facilitate complex decision-making, we use tools like empathetic listening to clearly understand stakeholder concerns, we offer intelligent alternatives to test appropriate solutions, and we work closely with our clients to make sure big-picture goals are met.

Our design focuses on how people will experience public spaces – from the airline traveller, trying to become oriented in a new city after a long flight; the young parents supervising their young children at play in the park; to the concert goer finding a seat or visiting the bar during intermission – spaces are designed with the user experience in mind.
