Yosemite Fall Rest Area and Bus Stop
Yosemite National Park, CA

The rest stop for Yosemite National Park includes a prototypical bus shelter and a public restroom for the picnic and recreation area near Lower Yosemite Falls.

Roof framing is a dressed log truss structure finished with tongue and groove plank and wood shakes. The stone veneer is quarried from a location nearby the Park boundaries and is dressed and laid in a pattern seen in the historic stone buildings in the park. The restroom facilities are designed to meet current ADA requirements and are divided by movable partitions to facilitate service and maintenance without shutting down operations.
