This vacation home is nestled between a lagoon and a spit of land in the Pacific Ocean. Designed as a weekend getaway, every feature accommodates relaxed living that spills from the house to the deck to the lagoon. Skylight and a wall of windows facing the view amply light in the generous living room. The street façade is designed to appear as a series of beach cabañas, while the rear elevation is open to the lagoon and a wide deck that steeps down to the water's edge.

Terra cotta colored concrete floors and fireplace stand up to the sand and sun without fading. Ample window seats are wide enough for lounging or extra sleeping areas for guests. The kitchen is open to living and dining areas, so the cook is always included in the activity. A full wall of cabinets and a pair of dishwashers keep the space looking open and clean.
